Chartae Witherspoon, Community Rep #4 (email)

Chartae Witherspoon is currently an ITP student at Mesa College and loves every moment of it. She has a cousin who is Deaf and taught her ASL at a very young age. Growing up, she always thought it would be interesting to become an Interpreter. So here she is! Chartae's goal is to eventually teach ASL in schools and she is currently teaching her baby Baby Sign. She is excited to share her ideas, input and creativity with everyone. She believes that in order for things to happen and/or change, one must first bring it to light so that others may see the same thing. As a result, she is proud to be SDCRID's student representative for Mesa and looks forward to an awesome two years while she is aboard.
