Miniworkshop:

Classifiers: “Did they say that?” presented by Loycene Sollman, NIC-Master, CI&CT

Workshop Description: Do you wish you could utilize classifiers to depict more of the message than a hand-shape and movement? Or while voicing do you reflect on different ways you should’ve could’ve said it? This mini 2-hour workshop will revisit types of ASL classifiers and how we can expand the lexical content while incorporating usage in our work. This workshop will also challenge interpreters to expand the use of jargon specific terms along with increasing our knowledge and use of idioms and jargon specific speech we use within our work.

This workshop is free for members, however CEU processing is $15 for members who do not attend the General Meeting. Nonmembers are welcome as well, but non-CEU attendance is $10 and $20 for interpreters looking to acquire CEUs.
