This workshop is designed to enable participants to interpret sign-to-voice with less apprehension and improved prosody. Emphasis is placed on clear communication strategies, verbal turn-taking, and constructing for meaning.

LaVona Andrew (MA; CI, CT, NIC: Master, EIPA 5.0) is a life-long learner, interpreter and educator. As a native ASL user and sign language professional, she maintains a full interpreting schedule in addition to teaching university ASL courses and leading interpreting workshops nationwide. Her specialties include sign-to-voice, mental health, performing arts, and video interpreting.

Students: $25.00, Members: $40.00, Non–members: $50.00.
